Understanding First. Commands Second.
Your dog isn't misbehaving without reason. They're communicating. A dog that lunges or barks is often afraid or overwhelmed, not "bad". Understanding the emotion behind the behavior changes how you address it.
Fear and anxiety are common: in a study of 13,700 dogs, 72.5% showed at least one problematic anxiety-related behavior, with noise sensitivity (32%) and general fearfulness (29%) the most common (Salonen et al., 2020).

How MK9 Approaches Fear
Fear-based behavior is part of Level III: Transformation, built for complex cases that require careful evaluation, honest owner participation, and a structured plan. These cases are reviewed personally by G before a program recommendation is made.
If your dog's behavior changed suddenly, talk to your veterinarian. A review of problem-behavior cases estimated conservatively that about a third involve a painful condition (Mills et al., 2020).
