Our Story
Meet G, the Canine Specialist Behind MK9
MK9 Specialists is led by GuiAlix Douyon (G), a canine specialist focused on transforming the relationship between dog and owner.
With more than a decade of experience training and caring for a wide range of dogs, G has learned to read a dog's body language and to lead and handle dogs in many different situations. That creates clear communication, and clear communication gives you better control and more freedom wherever you go with your dog.
His passion for dogs and animal behavior led him to create MK9 Specialists. Throughout his career in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, he saw how hard it is for owners to communicate with, understand, and handle their dogs. G describes it as owner and dog speaking two different languages. The result is disconnect, tension, and frustration on both ends of the leash.
“This is personal work. Every dog brings learned behavior patterns. Every owner brings a desire to handle their dog with confidence. The dog learns the commands, while the owner learns how to lead. MK9's role is to understand both sides of the leash and build a curriculum that creates clarity for the dog and control for the owner.”
